Molo holds certification from the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)*. GOTS is a comprehensive certification program, recognized as the world’s leading standard for textiles crafted from certified organic materials.

The GOTS certification ensures:
+ Monitoring every aspect of the textile supply chain, mandating strict environmental, and social criteria. Covering ginning processing, weaving, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading, and distribution.
+ The initial production of organic fibre cultivation is covered by any international or national organic farming standard that is approved in the IFOAM Family of Standards.
+ On-site inspection and certification of processors, manufacturers, and traders performed by independent GOTS-accredited Third-Party.
+ Requirements to collect information on sources of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) as well as identification of means for reduction for each source.
+ Wastewater from all wet processing units (dyeing, printing, washing) is treated in an internal or external functional wastewater treatment plant.
GOTS offers two types of certified label grades:
+ Made with organic: covering textile products made from at least 70% organic raw materials.
+ Organic: covering textiles made from at least 95% organic raw materials.
Molo’s GOTS-certified products hold the 'Organic' label.
